Nintex Workflows werden vom System abgebrochen. In den ULS-Logs findet man folgende und ähnliche Fehlermeldungen.

Das starten von Workflows ist nicht möglich.

Es werden folgende oder ähnliche Fehlermeldungen angezeigt:

Ein Mai 2014 Public-Update enthält einen Patch (KB2880963), welches das Problem behebt. Angeblich ist der Patch auch per Windows-Update verfügbar. Das war allerdings bei uns nicht der Fall.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly „Microsoft.Workflow.Client or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified

Details

Die Workflows können automatisch, aber nicht manuell gestartet werden.

Man kann keine 2013er Workflows im SharePoint-Designer auswählen (sie stehen nicht in der Auswahlliste).

Wählt man im SharePoint ein Element aus, welches Workflows enthält, und klickt man dann im Menü oben auf Workflow, dann gibt es die Meldung „Datei nicht gefunden“

Im ULS Log findet man folgende oder ähnliche Einträge:

  • System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Die Datei oder Assembly "Microsoft.Workflow.Client, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" oder eine Abhängigkeit davon wurde nicht gefunden. Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden
  • System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly "Microsoft.Workflow.Client or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified
